Schmitt-Matzen, Hollingsworth plan wedding ceremony
Ken and Pam Schmitt-Matzen of Cookeville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Charlotte Rachel Schmitt-Matzen, to Brian Wayne Hollingsworth, son of Jim and Joy Hollingsworth of Knoxville.

She also is the granddaughter of Harry and Pat Maxwell of Cookeville and the late John and Joy Schmitt-Matzen of Bellview, Ohio. He is the grandson of Jean Miller and the late Leon L. Miller of Knoxville and Betty Hollingsworth and the late Joe and Mary Hollingsworth, all of Clinton.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Cookeville High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from East Tennessee State University in 2008. She currently is employed as a nurse.

The groom-elect, a 2004 graduate of Farragut High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce from The University of Virginia in 2008. He currently is employed as a certified public accountant.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008, at First Presbyterian Church in Cookeville.

After a honeymoon to U.S. Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Washington, D.C.


Rust, Zachary to wed
William and Connie Rust of Knoxville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Claire Downing Rust, to Richard Justin Zachary, son of Richard and Pam Zachary of Knoxville.

She also is the granddaughter of Mrs. Peggy Forbis and the late Jack Forbis of Jackson and Mrs. Doris Rust and the late Hubert Rust of Knoxville. He is the grandson of Ted and Gay Witchen of Knoxville and the late Mr. and Mrs. H.T. Zachary of Memphis.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Farragut High School and will earn a Bachelor’s degree in history and political science from The University of Tennessee in 2009. She plans to become a high school history teacher.

The groom-elect, a 2001 graduate of Farragut High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from The University of Tennessee in 2006. He currently is an independent communications consultant.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008, at First Baptist Church, Concord.

After a honeymoon to Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the couple will reside in Knoxville.


Dickey, Golden to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Don Dickey of Farragut announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Allison Lindsey Dickey, to Tyler Joseph Golden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Golden of Morristown.

She also is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Dickey of Jacksonville, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Dempsey Sapp of Lake Butler, Fla. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Golden of Morristown and Mr. and the late Mrs. John Oaks of Scottsburg, Ind.

The bride-elect is a 2000 graduate of Farragut High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations and a Master’s degree in advertising from The University of Tennessee in 2004 and 2006, respectively. She is currently employed with Trademark Advertising.

The groom-elect, a 2003 graduate of Morristown East High School, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Master of Accountancy degree from The University of Tennessee in 2007 and 2008, respectively. He currently is employed by Ernst & Young in Nashville.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008, at Church Street United Methodist Church.

After a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Nashville.


Shirley, Hamilton to wed
Eddie and Jane Shirley of Farragut announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Andrea Grace Shirley, to William Baker Hamilton, son of Baker Hamilton of Harriman and Marta Smith of Knoxville.

She also is the granddaughter of Darrel D. and the late Dewanna Carter and Eddie and Betty Shirley, all of Elizabethton. He is the grandson of John H. and the late Lovelle Smith, and the late William S. and Sarah Hamilton, all of Harriman.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Farragut High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from The University of Tennessee in 2007. She is currently employed as an employee benefits coordinator with Alliant Insurance Services in Atlanta, Ga.

The groom-elect, a 2002 graduate of Christian Academy of Knoxville, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from The University of Tennessee in 2007. He currently is employed as a a professional services coordinator for Trident Medical Imaging in Atlanta.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Crescent Bend.

Following a honeymoon to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Atlanta.


Ray, Kohring to wed
Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Ray of Lebanon announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jessica “Jessi” Nicole Ray, to Shelby Wagner Kohring, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Kohring of Knoxville.

She also is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Luna of Mount Juliet and Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Ray of Ardmore and the late Tharon Ray of Lawrenceburg. He is the grandson of Mrs. Asia Read the late Mr. Melvin Read, both of Madison, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Kohring of Perrysburg, Ohio.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Friendship Christian School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Lipscomb University in 2008. She will begin teaching middle school in McMinnville in fall 2008.

The groom-elect, a 2003 graduate of Bearden High School, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and youth ministry from Lipscomb University in 2007. He currently is employed as a youth minister at Westwood Church of Christ in McMinnville.

The wedding ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, at North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro.

After a honeymoon to Cancun, Mexico, the couple will reside in McMinnville.
