• Rick Lambert has been named Branch Manager for SunTrust Bank, East Tennessee’s Cedar Bluff Kroger In-Store Branch, and James Richards has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager.

• Gatlinburg’s annual Independence Day parade begins at 12:01 a.m., the first minute of July 4, and offers a spectacular display of entertainers, floats, balloons and fireworks to an estimated 80,000 spectators gathered along the downtown Gatlinburg Parkway.  River Raft Regatta takes place at noon, July 4, beginning at the Christus Gardens bridge and ending at the Ripley’s Aquarium bridge.  The Regatta is for unmanned crafts and welcomes most anything that floats. Finally, an hour after sundown, the grand finale will be a fireworks extravaganza.

• Hedstrom Design recently named Rachel Beasley as project manager. Prior to joining Hedstrom, Beasley served for three years as project architect for Site Solutions LLC in Atlanta.

• Veteran financial services professionals Jerry Mitchell and Gayle Sullivan have joined Pinnacle Financial Partners as senior vice president and financial advisor
