• At 10:44 a.m., Wednesday, July 10, a Knox County Sheriff’s Office unit responded to Parkside Drive address in reference to threatening phone calls. Complainant/victim informed officers he received a phone call, with the caller saying he and others had abducted the victim’s daughters. The suspect demanded the victim transfer $1,350 to suspect and threatened to murder his daughters if he did not comply. Complainant spoke with his daughters on the phone and confirmed their safety.

• At 1:57 p.m., Tuesday, July 9, a Quail Pointe Road victim called KCSO North Precinct to a report vandalism at his residence. According to the victim, between Tuesday, July 2. and Thursday, July 4, person(s) unknown sprayed grass killer on a section of his lawn. Victim advised they had this problem back in 2017 but it hadn’t happened again until now. He wanted to file a report in case it escalates to the point it was in 2017. Victim said he had $3,000 in damage.

• Around 1:54 p.m., July 9, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a theft from a Concord Road residence. Complainant advised around 12:30 p.m., July 9, he noticed two large black kettles were no longer on his property. Value of loss was listed at $1,200. Complainant said the kettles had been left outside of the residence, but had been covered by brush so they could not be seen. Complainant advised he does not live at the residence, but he and his wife own it, so he was unsure of an exact date the kettles had last been seen. Complainant said he has trail cameras set up outside, and will review the footage for a possible photo of the suspect.

• At 9:07 a.m., July 9, a victim called KCSO North Precinct to report a burglary at an Oakley Downs Road residence. According to the victim, between 10 p.m., Monday, July 8, and 7 a.m., July 9, person(s) unknown entered his 2015 GMC 2500 and stole his wallet and contents with a total value of $24. Victim said he thought his vehicle was locked but could not see any signs of forced entry. Victim requested to see an officer, as there were footprints leading from his residence to another home nearby.

• At 10:26 a.m., Saturday, July 6, a KCSO unit responded to an Orchard Crossing Lane residence in regard to a burglary. Victim/complainant advised she was out of town last week and her sister was house-sitting. She advised her sister had left the house around 4 a.m., Saturday, June 29, and possibly left her back door unlocked. Victim advised when she arrived Monday, July 1, she noticed her jewelry boxes were missing from her closet, but did not report it because she thought one of the children might have moved it. Victim further advised after checking the entire residence she was not able to find the jewelry boxes and also noticed her vacuum cleaner was missing. Total value of loss was listed at $3,660. Victim stated she is unsure of a possible suspect at the time of this report.

• At 11:19 a.m., Thursday, July 4, a complainant called KCSO Teleserve Unit to report a stolen 2004 Honda CRV vehicle at 11717 Campbell Lakes Drive. Value of vehicle was listed at $5,000. He advised the incident took place at 9:17 a.m., Saturday, June 29. Complainant asked suspect to help move antiques across a hotel parking lot. Suspect was advised to only move vehicle over one lot, but left with vehicle instead.
