• Farragut High School hockey center James Dickinson has been selected to play next season for the Chadders 18-and-Under hockey team in Salt Lake City, Utah. Chadders finished the 2007-2008 season as the 30th-ranked 18-and-under team in the nation. As a freshman at Farragut, Dickinson was Freshman of the Year for the Knoxville High School Hockey League. As a sophomore last season, Dickinson lived at home and attended FHS but played for the Southern Flyers 16-and-Under team in Nashville, the 75th ranked 16 and Under team in the nation last season. Next season, Dickinson will attend high school and live with a family in Salt Lake City in order to play with the Chadders team. Dickinson says the decision to leave home and Farragut High School for his junior year wasn’t easy. “It's tough, but my parents and I were really impressed by the program, the facilities, and the coaching staff in Salt Lake City. After the season is over, I'll be able to move home and finish the school year at Farragut.”
