WALL•E?
- Thu, Jul, 24, 2008
Shayona Davenport, 9, offers her sno-cone cup to Jr., Knox County Sheriff’s Office’s Hazardous Duty Robot, at the KCSO Community Appreciation Day, held from 5 p.m. to dark, Saturday, July 19, at The Cove at Concord Park. Jr. is the “brother” of Bubba, KCSO’s other HZD. The robots are used in situations that may be dangerous for officers such as hazardous waste spills. A KCSO representative said the robots were named Jr. and Bubba to give them a little East Tennessee flair.
