Gridiron Ads tangle with power

The Admirals join other westside football programs showcasing their talents at Bearden High School beginning at 7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15, at the Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic 2008 Kick-Off Classic. Christian Academy opens the first quarter vs. Powell at 7; second quarter, Webb vs. Karns; third quarter, West versus Austin-East; fourth quarter, Farragut vs. South-Doyle; fifth quarter, BHS vs Knoxville Catholic. Hardin Valley Academy opens its inaugural season in KOC jamboree play at Central Thursday, Aug. 14, vs. Cosby (third and fifth quarters, opening kickoff 7 p.m.)
