• Aug. 22: A Crown Point Drive woman told Knox County Sheriff officer Jim Albanese her son left his wallet at Pilot off Campbell Station Road Aug. 18. Complainant stated he went back to the gas station later that day and was advised the wallet was not turned into anyone at the store. His American Express card was used at Rack Room Shoes in Turkey Creek and his First Tennessee card was used at Burger King off Middlebrook Pike.

• Aug. 22: A Sugarwood Drive woman advised KCSO representative Friva Limburg an unknown suspect damaged an upstairs bedroom window. The double-paned window was shattered on the outside and inside. Complainant advised there had been other acts of vandalism in the neighborhood recently.

• Aug. 23: Officers responded to a location off Farragut Commons Boulevard on report of a possible dog attack. Upon officers arrival, victim stated while she was walking her dogs to the mailbox, the neighbor’s dog had run towards her and her dogs in an aggressive manner. Victim also stated this same dog had attacked her and her dogs in March. The dog’s owner stated the dog did run towards the victim but did not attack her. Owner also did not know of any previous attacks on the victim or her dogs.

• Aug. 24: Officers were dispatched to a residence off Old Tavern Circle to investigate a burglary. Victim advised between midnight and 7:30 a.m., an unknown suspect gained entry through a rear door that was unlocked. Victim advised the only item missing was her purse, which contained credit cards, checkbook, $40 in cash and driver’s license.

• Aug. 24: An employee of Heritage Termite Pest Services advised KCSO officer Melissa Waters he discovered his wallet was missing. He is driving a company vehicle, which was broken into while the doors were unlocked. Only item missing is victim’s wallet and contents.
