Herrmann begins classes at Cottey

Noel Herrmann, a 2008 Farragut high School graduate and the daughter of Ellen and Harry Herrmann, was recently accepted to and began classes at Cottey College.
Herrmann is majoring in mathematics/computer science.
During her high school career Herrmann was active in church orchestra, handbell choir, basketball, Tae Kwon Do, chess club and Girl Scouts. She also is a Mensa member.
Herrmann has received the following honors and awards: Girl Scout Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, Tae Kwon Do black belt, first-place Mensa Babylon Tournament and fifth-place in National Scholastic Chess Team Tournament.
Cottey College is an independent, two-year liberal arts college for women located in Nevada, Mo., with a residential student capacity of only 350.
