BHS wins food drive

Bearden High School won its Second Harvest food drive collection battle versus Farragut, earning a $500 check from Kroger, sponsor during halftime of the BHS-Farragut football game Friday, Sept 12, at FHS. Pictured left to right are Paul Humphrey, Farragut Kroger co-manager, students Savannah Fielder, Meg McWhorter, Drew Stover, Cassie Kolls, Emily Bithorn, Jordan Kirkland and Tom Von Berg, Second Harvest vice president of development. Farragut students also collecting food (not pictured) are Adam Carr, Ashley Sutton, Becca Keyes, Cara Turski and Michael Hsueh.
