No. 4 SoccerDawgs, No. 8 FHS win, tie
Lady Ads crush KCHS, edge Greeneville

A blowout soccer win versus Knoxville Catholic, 7-1, and a 1-0 victory against Greeneville, both at home, highlighted the week for No. 8 state-ranked Farragut.

Two goals each from Morgan Brandon and Ashley Reveiz paced the Lady Ads against KCHS Tuesday, Sept. 30. Single goals came from Rachel Hill, Alyssa Dresen and Kiley McCarley, as FHS stood at 11-3-1 entering the week. Assists included Ruth Cook and Skylar Brewer.

After a scoreless tie at West, Thursday, Oct. 2, FHS got a Mindy Hopkins goal to beat Greeneville Saturday, Oct. 4.

Individually, “Skylar Brewer has really picked her game up,” FHS head coach Dennis Lindsay said about the freshman midfielder. “Megan Buzzeo [senior goalkeeper], she’s really stepped it up. M-C Suhocki [junior defender] has been one of the most solid players I’ve had; consistent, good all year.”
