Ingles ‘superstore’ opens

Ingles’ store manager, C.D. Pressley, obscured right, greets customers at the grand-opening of Ingles Market’s newest store, a 93,000-square-foot grocery. Ingles opened its doors Saturday, Oct. 11. The super-sized store carries an expanded selection of meat and produce; regular, organic and natural products; frozen food; deli and a bakery. The site also is home to the I Market, a convenience store and gas station boasting seven gas pumps: six unleaded and one diesel. The Ingles complex also will include a four-bay car wash.
