• Claris Networks has been named to Business Tennessee’s 2008 Hot 100 list for the second year in a row. The list, which will be featured in a special November edition of Business Tennessee, recognizes the state’s fastest-growing and dynamic private companies.

• The Documentary Channel will premier “TVA: Built for the People,” at 9 p.m., Monday, Nov. 24. The film documents the epic journey of the Tennessee Valley Authority from President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s signing of the TVA Act in 1933 to the impact of TVA on the lives of people across the Tennessee Valley today.  Film is narrated by Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Beau Bridges, directed by Academy Award nominees Sean and Andrea Fine and executive produced by Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Tom Neff.

• Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC has added Rosalee Preston in its Knoxville office. Preston has joined the accounting firm in a staff position in the tax division. 

• Jeannie Dulaney, Leadership Knoxville’s longtime President and CEO, has announced her retirement effective at the end of March, 2009. Dulaney helped organize the first Leadership Knoxville class back in 1985 and has helped guide every class since.

• Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, PC has added Matthew Loren Scollard in its Knoxville office. Scollard joined the accounting firm in a staff position in the audit division.  He is a recent graduate of The University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s of accountancy.  

• ES&H, Inc. announces that its President, Bill Garibay, has been selected as one of the top three finalists for the 2008 Hispanic Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Green Company Category by Hispanic Business, Inc.
