Merry Christmas
- Thu, Dec, 25, 2008
Some lucky Farragut-area children received a surprise visit from Santa Claus and one of his “reindeer” Thursday, Dec. 18, in front of Equi-Knox Equestrian Shop off Kingston Pike. Santa parked his sleigh and posed for photos as families pulled off Kingston Pike for an impromptu visit. Six year old Isabella Fricks, pictured with Santa, said she was glad her mother, Liz Fricks, picked her up from school and brought her to see Santa. For those who thought Rudolph looked a little large for a reindeer, you were right. The reindeer were all busy preparing for their Christmas Eve flight so they passed on a set of antlers to a friendly Brahman bull. A few of Rudolph’s cousins are available for viewing at Knoxville Zoo.
