New Year, new babies ...

The first baby born in Farragut in 2009, Kolton Henacee Butler, a boy, pictured, arrived at Baptist Hospital for Women to Rebecca and Chris Butler of Rockwood. Kolton, born at 10:49 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 1, weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20-and-one-half inches long. Not due until late January, Kolton was a New Year surprise.
Parkwest Medical Center’s first baby of the New Year did not arrive until Jan. 2. Baby girl Mason Grace Oialea Sentell was born to Christina and Allen Sentell of Lenoir City at 2:58 p.m., Friday, Jan. 2. The Sentells are from Lenoir City and are members of First Baptist Concord. Mason was 19-and-one-half inches long and weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces.
