‘School optional’ questioned ...
- Thu, Jan, 22, 2009
Last Friday, Jan. 16, parents had the opportunity to decide whether or not to allow their children to attend school due to cold temperatures. It was deemed a “Parents Discretion” attendance day. This move was met with much criticism. What do you think? Did your children attend class? Did your children stay out without your permission? What about the weather made it unsuitable for attendance? Should Knox County Schools have closed? Should the schools have operated on a regular schedule? Let us know, call or e-mail presstalk at 671-TALK (8255) or presstalk@farragutpress.com
