Munday is GSAC Player of Year, joins Draper as All-Academic


Natalie Munday, Maryville College standout senior post and former Farragut High School standout named Great South Athletic Conference Player of the Year, added GSAC Tour-namentís Most Valuable Player honors by leading MC to the tourney basketball championship.

Munday, who led Maryville in points per game, 16.5, rebounds, 5.9, and three-point shooting percentage, 40, this season, also led the Lady Scots to the NCAA Division III national tourney.

A first-round NCAA loss to Oglethorpe University, 68-65, ended Mundayís career and MCís season at 19-9. She scored 15.


Rachel Draper, Mundayís former teammate at FHS and a Maryville junior stating wing averaging four points per game, joined Munday on the GSAC All-Academic team.
