• March 13: A Lake Haven Road man advised Knox County Sheriff’s officer Larry Hart, between March 5 and March 8, an unknown suspect forced open complainant’s rear garage door and took a semi-automatic rifle, a single shot rifle, a lever action rifle, two single shot shotguns and $600 in change. The residence was not entered. Suspect left by opening the front garage door.

• March 13: KCSO officer Joseph Crabtree responded to Baptist Hospital West on report of a hit and run. Victim stated Wednesday, March 11, he was parked in the side lot of the hospital when his vehicle’s front end was struck and damaged. Victim stated he entered and exited his vehicle from the rear and did not notice the damage until March 13. Victim has no suspect information.

• March 13: KCSO officer Ronald Black was dispatched to a residence off Virtue Road on report of a hit and run with property damage. Complainant stated the driver of a silver Ford Explorer hit the fire hydrant located in front of his residence and fled the scene. Rural/Metro and First Utility District were advised of the incident and called to inspect the hydrant.

• March 13: An Oakland Hills Point man advised KCSO officer Rick Drysdale an unknown suspect entered his residence and stole a 13-inch flat screen television, a digital camera, a diamond ring, Xanax and a watch. Suspect apparently entered the property through fence gate, tried to enter a sliding glass door and finally entered an unlocked door on the west side of the house. Suspect exited by the same door. Officer lifted fingerprints and took photographs of the suspect areas.

• March 14: KCSO officer Ronald Black was dispatched to Sheer Talent Salon off Kingston Pike on a burglary call. Complainant stated she entered the salon and noticed someone had rummaged through her office. Officers observed the back door had been forced open, wires at the back of the building had been cut and the audible alarm box had been torn from the wall. Complainant stated a desk drawer containing about $8 was taken from her office.

• March 14: An Early Woods Lane man advised KCSO officer Jill Breeden an unknown suspect took his daughter’s iPod from her purse at Farragut High School. He stated the purse was sitting outside the gym.

• March 16: KCSO officer Clark Caswill responded to Edward Brooks’ oral surgery office off West Point Drive for a burglary call. Complainant stated entry was made between March 14 and March 16. Suspects broke a rear window and entered the business, leaving mud tracks inside. Nothing was found to be missing. Officers took photographs of the scene.

• March 18: KCSO officer Ronald Black was dispatched to Baymont Hotel off Campbell Lakes Drive for a vehicle burglary. Complainant stated he parked his company truck in the parking lot March 17. When he returned to the vehicle, the toolbox on the truck was open and Pentech tensioner was missing. Complainant stated he locked the toolbox before entering the hotel.
