A Pearl for Childhelp

Farragut-area resident and The University of Tennessee men’s basketball head coach Bruce Pearl, accompanied by Brandy Miller, were among the more than 600 participants enjoying themselves at 14th annual Oysterfest at Concord Marina Saturday, April 18. The event benefited Childhelp and raised more than $60,000. Farragut Wine and Spirits owner David Purvis, president of the board of Childhelp in Knoxville, said, “We have an advocacy center where we do the investigations into sexual and physical abuse allegations against children.” Oysterfest featured food from several local restaurants and music by Dave Landeo.
