State-ranked CAKís season special


Christian Academy of Knoxville High School baseball is enjoying a groundbreaking season in 2009.

Ranked among the stateís Top-10 for the first time ever (TBCA poll), the Warriors also won the programís first-ever District 4-AA crown at 11-1, and entered post-season play 21-6 overall.

Individually, CAK is led in batting average by Blake Houser (.397) followed by Keenan Kolinski (.375). Kolinsky also leads in home runs (five) and RBI (30), while Houser leads in stolen bases (22). Charlie Holland is second in RBI at 27 while Brandon Morris has swiped eight bases. On the mound, Kolinsky leads in wins (nine) and strikeouts (101) while Chandler Tarr has four wins and 41 strikeouts.
