• May 22: A Clear Ridge Road woman advised Knox County Sheriff’s Officer Amanda Patterson an unknown suspect broke the front passenger side window of her vehicle and stole her checkbook, containing social security cards and credit cards.

• May 24: KCSO officer Eric Davis responded to Petro Stopping Station off Watt Road on a shoplifting call. Complainant advised the suspect had placed an Usher CD, Fergie CD, beard trimmer and flashlight in her purse. Complainant asked suspect for consent to search her purse then found the items. Suspect admitted to placing the items in her purse without paying for them.

• May 24: An Appalachian Log Homes employee advised KCSO officer Melissa Waters a witness told him a work trailer had been stolen. Witness stated he watched a late 1960s model red Chevy pick-up truck drive away from the property with the trailer attached. Suspect vehicle was driven by a black man with a white female in the middle seat and a young white male in the passenger seat.

• May 26: A Lost Tree Lane man advised KCSO officer Donnie Ion his cell phone had been stolen. Complainant advised the suspect was a female companion, whose name he could not remember, whom he met at a restaurant he believed to be the Tennessee Grille.

• May 27: An Emergency Health Partners employee advised KCSO officer Julie Duncan an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and stole binoculars and rescue equipment while his vehicle was parked at his place of business, off Parkside Drive.
