Championship ‘Alliance’


FC Alliance 96 Black girls won the 2009 Tennessee Soccer Div II U13 State Championship May 16 at Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville. FC Alliance earned a trip to the finals with a 5-0 victory versus Krossfire (Oak Ridge) and a 1-1 tie against defending state champ Tennessee United Red (Hendersonville). In the final, FC Alliance bested Tennessee Futbol Club Impact Black (Franklin) 2-1. The win sends the team back to US Youth Soccer Region III Championship Tournament in Greenville, S.C. June 12-14.
