Grieco, Culbreth top region, 4-AAA soccer honors

Trevor Grieco, Farragut standout senior midfielder who helped lead the Ads to a Class AAA state soccer title, has been named both Region 2-AAA and District 4-AAA Most Valuable Player in 2009.
Wallie Culbreth, FHS head coach, was named region Coach of the Year, and joins four other All-2-AAA Ads: Nick Muth, Wayman McLaughlin, Ryan Stinton and Carlos Ramos. All four also were All-district along with forward John Jester and goalkeeper Shea Beltran. Jester also was second team All-region.
Bearden All-region players are Alex Wilkerson, also named district Midfielder of the Year, along with Ryan Campbell, Patrick Harmony and Seth Williams.
All four also earned All-district honors along with Scott Newman, also a second-team All-region choice.
Hardin Valley’s Justin Haskell was an All-region honoree.
