Several thousand Farragut citizens and area residents turned out in force to view the 22nd annual Independence Day Parade sponsored by the town of Farragut.

Highlighting the parade was Grand Marshal Bob Kesling, voice of The University of Tennessee Volunteer football team, accompanied by his wife, Tami.

The weather was good for the event with few clouds and a welcomed breeze provided by Knox County Sheriff's Office helicopters hovering above the crowd.

Several of the parade entrants this year provided music with their entries.
