Food City melon eaters ...

Jacob Jordan enjoys a piece of watermelon during a watermelon eating contest, Saturday, July 18, at Hardin Valley’s Food City. The contest was part of Food City’s “Welcome to Freshville” produce event, which features fresh local produce in a farmer’s market environment. The event also featured a corn-on-the-cob eating contest, as well as giveaways and door prizes. Covenant Health fitness representative Missy Kane judged the watermelon contest.
