DressBarn, an off-price women’s apparel retailer, opened its doors at 11433 Parkside Drive, Friday, Sept. 4.

“DressBarn provides clothing options for women including casual, career and special occasion apparel,” in sizes from 4 to 24, public relations spokesperson Donna Baccollo said.

“We provide current fashions, personalized service, great values and a commitment to our national charitable causes,” she added.

“What sets us apart from other specialty retailers is our focus on our customers by providing current fashions, personalized service, great values and commitment to our national charitable causes,” Baccollo said.

DressBarn supports national causes such as American Cancer Society and Arbor Day Foundation, as well as local charitable causes.

“We promote Relay for Life; DressBarn is a national team with teams across the country.

“We also sell exclusive items in our stores to support our participation in Relay for Life, where all the profits go to the American Cancer Society,” Baccollo said.

“We also do this in October to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” she added. Proceeds go to both local and national breast cancer initiatives.

“We pride ourselves on being a grassroots store and building relationships locally, not only with customers but with local businesses.

“We participate in support of community events,” Baccollo said.

For its grand opening, DressBarn offered in-store specials, free gifts and the chance to win a $250 DressBarn shopping spree.

Why did DressBarn decide to open in Farragut?

“Why not?” Baccollo said.

“We want to help women feel good about themselves both inside and out,” she added.

DressBarn in Turkey Creek will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from noon to 6 p.m., Sundays.

DressBarn has 17 other locations in Tennessee, including one in Knoxville.
