Town to host two red light camera forums
First forum tonight at 4:30 p.m.

The town of Farragut will host two public forums regarding the Photo Enforcement Program.

Ben Harkins, the Town’s newly designated Photo Enforement Program manager and Knox County Sheriff’s Office captain, will preside over the forum. Harkins is scheduled to retire from KCSO in December.

The first forum is tonight from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 24, and the second from 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 1.

Both forums are to be held at Farragut Town Hall.

The forums are designed to provide attendees a brief presentation on the new red light camera system as well as informational packets on the implementation of the Photo Enforcement Program.

Installation of the red light camera system is in progress.

A question and answer session is slated to follow each presentation.
