• Sept. 25: A Phillips 66 employee advised Knox County Sheriff’s officer Pamela Wyrick an unknown suspect took the control box from the car wash, just off Kingston Pike. The box contained $17 at time of the theft.

• Sept. 25: A Woodcock Drive man advised KCSO officer Matthew Schlosshan he parked his vehicle in the parking lot near Red Robin Gourmet Burgers off Parkside Drive. While he was in the restaurant, he saw an unknown suspect drive his vehicle away. Complainant said he had noticed the suspect in the parking lot earlier. He also advised his cell phone was in his vehicle.

• Sept. 26: A Tranquilla Drive man advised KCSO officer Rick Drysdale he left some property at a vacant house off Watt Road he was remodeling. Overnight, an unknown suspect stole some of that property, including a saw and a CD player. Owner of the residence lives in California. A combination lock from the realty company had been placed on the door of the residence. It had been picked to gain access. No damage was done to the home or to the lock.

• Sept. 27: A Valley Trail man advised KCSO officer Donnie Ion his mailbox was knocked over during the night of Sept. 26 by an unknown suspect.

• Sept. 27: A Creekwood Trail man advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown suspect damaged the lights near the Hickory Woods subdivision entrance sign.

• Sept. 27: A Subway employee stated an unknown white, male suspect entered the West End Avenue restaurant, displayed a silver semi-automatic handgun, and took approximately $1,220. He left the business without further incident. No vehicle information was given. Suspect was believed to be in his 20s or 30s, about six feet tall and stocky.

• Sept. 28: A Blue Meadow Lane man advised KCSO officer Ericka Davenport an unknown suspect broke into his vehicle, stealing a GPS system and a handbag, while the vehicle was parked at St. John Neumann Church.
