Webb wins on forfeit, still perfect

The Webb School of Knoxville Spartans remaining undefeated, winning by forfeit after their scheduled Friday, Oct. 9, match-up with Mount Juliet Christian Academy was cancelled due to severe weather.

The Spartans got the word en route to Nashville.

“Nashville had severe storms and tornado warnings. We got halfway there and they told us to turn around,” Webb head coach Dave Meske said.

Mount Juliet chose not to reschedule the game, resulting in a Spartans forfeit win by a 1-0 score.

Webb will host Zion Christian Academy Friday, Oct. 16, in a Division II-A East-Middle Region game starting at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 16, at Faust Field.
