FIS 4-H meeting

During the day on Oct. 28, the 4-H fifth-grade club at Farragut Intermediate School began.

It opened up vast opportunities for all of the educated children attending it. As [it was] the first day, we had to pick our officers. We had a voting for president, vice-president, secretary, reporter and snack committees.

The president position was filled by Jack Walter. The vice-president position was filled by Taylor Griffey. The secretary position was filled by Jillian Baker. The snack committee has Noah Leg and Alana Wilhoit.

After we all voted and settled into our jobs, we reviewed our contests. Mr. Danny [Bullington] told us about the 4-H poster contest. Finally, we talked about the sessions for veterinary school, working with horses and other classes.

That wrapped up our meeting for that day and that wraps up my report. If it happens in 4-H, Ill know about it.

Jillian Baker is a fifth-grade student at FIS and provides farragutpress with first-person accounts of 4-H meetings.
