• Dec. 1: Knox County Sheriff’s Officer officer Tammy Brummitt responded to Kohl’s department store off Kingston Pike on report of shoplifting. A known suspect was observed removing his personal shoes and putting on a pair of new running shoes, placing his in the shoebox, and exiting the store without paying for the merchandise. Suspect was stopped outside the store and escorted back in by a Kohl’s employee. Shoe cost was $69.99.
• Dec. 2: A Butternut Circle woman advised KCSO officer Laura McElhaney an unknown suspect removed her wallet from her purse at an unknown location.
