KCHS’s Williamson named all-star MVP

With two interceptions, defensive back Tyler Williamson of Knoxville Catholic earned Defensive Most Valuable Player honors during the Third Annual East-West Tennessee All-state Classic Saturday, Dec. 12, at Carson-Newman College’s Burke Tarr Stadium.
Williamson, standout Irish quarterback/defensive back who helped lead KCHS to the 2008 Class 3A state title, twice picked off Class AA Mr. Football honoree Bo Wallace of Giles County.
