Scheidt’s All-American honor

Kylann Scheidt, former Farragut High School All-American and two-time All-state volleyball player now a freshman with the Tennessee Lady Volunteers volleyball team, was honored in FHS’s Lynn E. Sexton Gymnasium
Tuesday night, Jan. 26. Scheidt received her American Volleyball Coaches Association Under Armour All-American Team plaque, recognizing her as one of the nation’s top 24 high school players in 2009, between FHS varsity basketball games. Presenting the honor are Kellie Ivens, FHS assistant principal and girls athletics director, and David Moore, former Lady Ads varsity volleyball head coach who resigned last fall.
