Complainant said a male was allowed to use the restroom of her family’s home, then was asked to leave. The male somehow re-entered the secured building and began going through drawers in the dining area.

The male was asked to leave, to which he then went outside and began trying to get into different cars. Suspect said his aunt bought him a car, a Honda Civic, “and left it out there for him to find, as an elaborate puzzle,” the report stated. “Then he changed his story to the fact that he needed to go buy his own car, and had just remembered that part. I advised (suspect) he was to remove himself from the property and that he was trespassed from the property.”

• At 11:06 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, officers were dispatched to a Hickory Woods Road residence regarding a fire. Officers saw a brush fire in the backyard of the residence with flames about 200 feet high.

“The fire was only being attended to by teenagers,” the report stated.

“The fire was put out.”

Officers requested to speak with the parents, which took about 15 minutes to happen. “Suspect came out of the residence and was confrontational with officers, telling them to leave since he had not done anything wrong, saying the fire was only a cooking fire,” the report stated.

The suspect told officers to leave. “Rural Metro told officers they had been to the residence approximately four times prior to this incident regarding fires this large,” the report further stated. “Officers contacted fire investigators regarding the incident.”
