• Feb. 27: A Moccasin Lane woman advised Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputy Johnny McDonald that while she was staying at NHC Place, her daughter, the suspect, took her vehicle without permission. Victim also advised the suspect is refusing to return the vehicle.

• Feb. 27: A Garrett Road man advised KCSO officer Laura McElhaney his truck was stolen from the parking lot of Wild Wing Café off Campbell Lakes Drive. Victim had no suspects.

• Feb. 28: A Lost Tree lane woman advised KCSO officer Susan Clark she noticed two lug nuts missing from her rear tire when she started to leave her house for church. Victim had no suspects.


• Feb. 28: A Kings Gate Road woman advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown suspect shot a BB through his windshield, and apparently set fire to the tires of his vehicle.

• March 1: A Moccasin Lane woman advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert her daughter stole jewelry, valued at more than $4,000, from her purse while she was at a rehabilitation center.

• March 2: KCSO officer James Thompson responded to Kohl’s department store after a shoplifting call. Witness stated he saw the arrestee take merchandise and conceal it under her clothing. She then exited the store without paying for the clothing, valued at $146.

• March 3: A Sonja Drive woman advised KCSO officer Matt Lusk she discovered medication had been relocated from its normal location in her home. She stated she then checked her jewelry box and found three rings had been removed. She then saw the suspect make furtive gestures, as if he were putting items in his front pocket. Suspect is a hired contractor. Officer Lusk discovered two rings and loose medication that the victim identified as hers. Victim stated two other rings, a set of ear rings and a bracelet had been stolen since the suspect began work in her residence March 2. Total value of the jewelry was $4,900.
