Call for victims to vote out officials

In the last town of Farragut election April 7, 2009, Ralph McGill won mayor with 1,603 votes versus 763 for Eddy Ford. Bob Markli won alderman with 682 votes versus 641 for Tom Rosseel. Jeff Elliot won Alderman unopposed with 856 votes.

Thousands of red-light camera tickets have now been written in the town of Farragut. It is my hope that a few of the victims of these cameras join me in voting for anyone whose sole platform involves the removal of these cameras.

Removal of calming islands would be considered a plus.

It would not take many of us standing together to get these awful cameras taken down.

Danny Hodge

Farragut
