FIS rock musical

Farragut Intermediate School hosted a concert, “Rock and Roll Forever: How It All Began,” Tuesday, March 16. “The Beatles” band, above, is comprised of Jonathan Stallings, Remy Tunstall, Braden Thayer and Alex Quist. Songs included classic hits from the Beach Boys, Elvis, The Beatles and Little Richard. FIS students ended the evening with a tribute to Michael Jackson and the entire fifth-grade (more than 300 students) danced to Jackson’s “Thriller.” FIS music teachers who helped organize the event were Amy Logan and Cyndi Russell.
