Campbell Station Road meth arrest nets 15

Fifteen people were arrested in a meth lab raid near Hardin Valley Wednesday afternoon from a mobile home off North Campbell Station Road.

“Some citizens had called and you have pharmacy logs when people buy [meth ingredients] and then we had done our own investigation,” Knox County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Martha Dooley said.

The lab wasn’t active when KCSO officers arrived, but had been used recently, she added.

The lab was found in a mobile home at 1849 N. Campbell Station Road and was raided about 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 14.

Fifteen people, whose names were unavailable, were arrested. The group was made up of eight men, five women and two juveniles, a 15-year-old and 17-year-old.

All were charged with the promotion and manufacture of methamphetamine.

One arrestee was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, one with possession of a stolen rifle and one with possession of Schedule II narcotics.

Several of the 15 arrestees had outstanding warrants for failure to appear in court.
