UVa’s Harris 4-AAA MVP

Stephanie Harris has added one more award to her long list.

The Farragut Lady Admirals' All-state softball first baseman and University of Virginia signee recently was named District 4-AAA Player of the Year, helping FHS (27-12) finish second in both 4-AAA league and tourney play.

Other Lady Ads All-District honorees are junior second baseman Megan Harris, junior centerfielder Madison Gray, junior shortstop Andi Murry and staff pitching ace Kaci Murr, a sophomore.

This crew, along with senior catcher Paige Kula — an All-4-AAA tourney choice — led FHS in eliminating Heritage and William Blount during last week's tourney.

Bearden All-4-AAA honorees are senior shortstop/outfielder Haley Miles and staff pitching ace Kaylee Heemsoth, also a senior.
