Verizon moves down Parkside
Turkey Creek cell phone retailer sets up shop in Farragut limits

Verizon Wireless has relocated from one Turkey Creek location to another, moving within Farragut town limits.

The cellular phone retailer held a grand-reopening celebration at its new location, 11511 Parkside Drive, near Newk’s Café, this past weekend, June 11-13.

“That space just turned out to be perfect for us,” Karen Schultz, public relations, said.

The new location gives the store almost double the space of its previous spot, she added, which translates into more room for displays, technology and customers.

“We really just wanted to move to accommodate our customers and give them a better shopping experience,” Schultz said.

The new location features “live, working demos,” new information displays and for news on what’s coming in wireless technology.

“We have more space for our customers. It can take a while sometimes to find the right wireless device that really fits your needs and your personality,” Schultz said.

“We want to make sure our customers are comfortable, and really get in there and play with our devices, test them out and try them, get their questions answered and have the time to get them in the right device,” she added.

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sundays.
