• June 5: A Long Bow Road man advised Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputy Jill Breeden an unknown suspect knocked the driver side mirror off his truck with a bat.

• June 6: A Menifee Avenue man advised KCSO officer Ericka Davenport that he left his hockey equipment outside his vehicle while it was parked at Baymont Inn & Suites off Campbell Lakes Drive. He was letting the equipment “air out,” and returned an hour later to find an unknown suspect had stolen it.

• June 7: A Long Bow Road woman advised KCSO officer Cathy Norris an unknown suspect stole 12 ceramic mushroom statues from her flowerbed.


• June 7: A Verizon Wireless employee advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown female suspect stole five Bluetooth headsets from the store.

• June 8: A Glen Abbey Boulevard man advised KCSO officer Cathy Norris he and his wife were waiting in a doctor’s office at Mercy Hospital West when his wife was called back. He went with her, then realized he’d left a few items in the waiting room. When he returned, the items were gone. Victim advised an unknown suspect had stolen his secure ID token for his office computer and a memory stick, both attached to a key chain with his name on it.

• June 9: A Victoria Drive woman advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown male suspect stole her wallet while she was at a laundromat off Kingston Pike. She left the wallet on a washing machine, left the laundromat, returned and found it was missing.

• June 9: A Northshore Drive man advised KCSO officer Cathy Norris two white male teenagers stole cash he left lying on a shoe box in Gander Mountain off Parkside Drive. Victim said he was in the store trying on shoes, and left between $400 and $500 lying on the shoebox while he walked down an aisle in the new shoes. Two white male teenage suspects ran past him, grabbed the money and ran out the door. Victim advised the manager of Gander Mountain is checking surveillance video to gain still photos of the suspects.

• June 9: KCSO officer Jeff Bryan responded to Belk department store off Parkside Drive on report of a theft. Complainant advised a known suspect and employee had been stealing merchandise from the store and then returning it for cash. This had been going on since February. Suspect had stolen and returned merchandise for a total of $801.22. Suspect was given a no trespass warning. Complainant was advised of the proper way to obtain warrants.

• June 10: An Econo Lodge employee advised KCSO officer Pamela Wyrick a known suspect and former coworker had stolen $100 from her purse. The incident was caught on security cameras, and suspect had been terminated from working at the motel.
