Chamber building area map

Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce is compiling information for its map of Farragut and West Knox County.

“It will provide each Chamber member a great opportunity to offer their clients, new and old, a map to help them grow their business,” Chamber president and CEO Bettye Sisco said in an e-mail.

The map depicts the Farragut and West Knox County area with a street index and highlighted businesses. The map also shows the locations of new developments and subdivisions; businesses can pay to have their locations bulleted.

“One side of the map will be of the Farragut area and will include the subdivisions as well as all of the walking trails and parks, while the other side will show the West Knoxville area to Papermill and Northshore,” Sisco said.

The Chamber will order 5,000 copies of the map, which will be distributed in welcoming packets for new residents to the area, and which will be available at Farragut Town Hall and at Chamber offices.

An online map also will be available.

The map has a “two-year shelf life,” Sisco said, adding it offers affordable marketing exposure.

“Sponsorship is limited and positions fill quickly. We encourage you to reserve your space now,” Sisco said.

Community Link, out of Chicago, Ill., is partnering with the Chamber to create the map, the third the Chamber has published.

The last map the Chamber released was in 2008.
