• June 25: Knox County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Deandre Jones responded to Kohl’s department store off Kingston Pike on report of a shoplifter. Witness stated he observed known suspect conceal and attempt to steal merchandise worth $152.

• June 25: A Crestview Road man advised KCSO officer Genni Strickland an unknown suspect took a chainsaw, weed eater, leaf blower and other tools from his truck bed. His truck was parked in his driveway.


• June 26: A Fox Den Drive woman advised KCSO officer Susan Clark she could not locate her diamond tennis bracelet. She said she lost it somewhere in West Knoxville but didn’t know where.

• June 26: A Persimmon Lane man advised KCSO officer Jill Breeden an unknown suspect broke the front passenger side window of his vehicle and stole his wallet, including $70. Vehicle was parked off Saddle Ridge Drive.

• June 26: A Gander Mountain employee advised KCSO officer Laura Hayes concerning a theft. Complainant stated a known suspect and business employee had stolen about $600 from Gander Mountain between June 1 and June 25. Complainant stated the suspect admitted to stealing $20 on June 25. Suspect was escorted off the property and advised he was not allowed on Gander Mountain property anymore.

• June 27: A Shady Springs Lane man advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown suspect took his vehicle from the Baymont Inn & Suites off Campbell Lakes Drive.

• June 27: A Piney Grove Road woman advised KCSO officer Julie Duncan an unknown suspect broke the rear windshield of her vehicle and stole her purse and wallet. Vehicle was parked off Watt Road.

• June 27: A Crestview Road woman advised KCSO officer Julie Duncan an unknown suspect stole a weed eater from her open garage. Suspect was driving a maroon Honda Accord that the victim had seen casing the neighborhood for several days before the theft.

• June 28: A Golden Fox Lane man advised KCSO officer Johnny McDonald an unknown suspect broke the window of his vehicle and stole a camera.

• June 28: A Southwick Circle man advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown suspect broke the passenger side window of his vehicle and stole a purse and wallet.

• June 28: A Golden Fox Lane man advised KCSO officer Pamela Wyrick an unknown suspect damaged the driver’s side window of his vehicle and broke off the rear windshield wiper and threw it in the yard. No entry was made to the vehicle.

• June 28: An Andover Boulevard man advised KCSO officer Pamela Wyrick an unknown suspect stole a toolbox from the back of his vehicle.

• June 28: An Everett Road woman advised KCSO officer Mark Watson an unknown suspect entered her attached garage and stole an air compressor, gas can and tool set. There were no signs of forced entry and victim is unsure when suspect entered the house.

• June 29: An Attleboro Drive woman advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown suspect broke the lock on the driver’s side passenger door of his vehicle and stole a camera, wallet and Nintendo.

• June 30: A Wyndham Hall Road man advised KCSO officer Julie Duncan an unknown suspect stole a sprinkler from his front yard.

• July 1: A Kroger Marketplace employee advised KCSO officer Traci Wright an unknown suspect stole a case of Coors Light beer from the store.

• July 1: An Alcott Manor Lane man advised KCSO officer an unknown suspect threw a rock through the rear window of his vehicle while it was parked at Wild Wing Café off Campbell Lakes Drive.

• July 2: A West Woodchase Road woman advised KCSO officer Melissa Waters she observed a white pick-up truck drive away from her home, and assumed the driver of the vehicle was from a utility vehicle and was checking her meter. However, victim found a toolbox was missing from her home, although the garage door was up at the time of the theft.

• July 2: A Crown Point Drive woman advised KCSO officer Cathy Norris her mother-in-law’s diamond ring was missing from her residence at Parkview West Assisted Living.

• July 3: A Blackstone Drive man advised KCSO officer Jill Breeden an unknown suspect stole two stets of golf club s from their golf cart at Fox Den Country Club. One set of clubs was his; the other was a friend’s.

• July 3: A Red Canyon Road advised KCSO officer Genni Strickland an known suspect, her daughter, stole $300 and a diamond ring from her home.

• July 5: A Dunkin’ Donuts employee advised KCSO officer Mark Belliveau an unknown white female suspect, about 17 years old, entered the Dunkin’ Donuts off Campbell Station Road, and stole her Blackberry. Victim said in-store video revealed the victim’s phone was left on the counter and the suspect took it then abruptly left the store. Phone was deactivated.

• July 5: A Blunt Ford Road man advised an unknown suspect stole gasoline from his vehicle. Complainant advised he was sleeping in his truck at the T.A. Truck Stop off Watt Road.

• July 5: A Bays Mountain Drive man advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown suspect stole the license plate from his vehicle.

• July 5: A Farragut Commons man advised KCSO officer Julie Duncan an unknown suspect stole weed eater and a leaf blower from his driveway.

• July 5: A Saddle Ridge Drive man advised KCSO officer Julie Duncan a known suspect, his son, had a party while he and his wife were out of town. Complainant stated the suspect and his friends broke the internal lock on the freezer and stole meat. They also broke a bed in the guest bedroom and left the garage door open the entire time, leaving the home unsecured. Suspect also currently lives with the complainant. 

• July 6: A Heathermoor Drive man advised KCSO officer Josie Sieben an unknown suspect broke the front passenger window of his vehicle and stole a purse, wallet, keys, camera, GPS system and iPod. All the items in the vehicle belonged to the complainant’s daughter, who drives the vehicle.

• July 6: KCSO officer James Page responded to Kohl’s department store on report of a shoplifter. Witness stated he observed a known suspect take six items from the juniors department and enter the dressing room, which was clean and empty of all clothes. Suspect then exited the dressing room with only empty hangers and hung them on a rack. Suspect exited the store but was escorted back into the store. Stolen merchandise, totaling $156, was recovered in suspect’s purse.

• July 7: A West Kingsgate Road woman advised KCSO officer P.J. Lambert an unknown suspect stole mail and two movies from her mailbox.

• July 7: KCSO officer Jessica Trenthman responded to Kohl’s department store on report of a shoplifter. Witness stated he saw two suspects placing items in their bags. Witness found the merchandise, worth $123.50, but also found drug paraphernalia and marijuana. Suspects were issued a no trespassing warning and were escorted off the property.
