Kingston Pike resurface ‘groovy’

A cement truck travels westbound along Kingston Pike on virtually unpaved road Tuesday morning, July 20. The main street through Farragut has been grooved for asphalt resurfacing. Nearly a mile from the east entrance of Kohl’s shopping center to the Kingston Pike entrance to BB&T Bank and Wendy’s will be resurfaced. Tennessee Department of Transportation is scheduled to complete the project within 35 days (mid-August). Work will only be done during the night. The project began Sunday, July 18. Kingston Pike resurfacing is not a town of Farragut project.
