Moxley to speak at Chamber breakfast
Heather Mays - Thu, Jul, 29, 2010
Social marketing will be the topic of the day at Farragut West Knox Chamber of Commerce’s next speaker series breakfast Tuesday, Aug. 10.
Cynthia Moxley, founder of Moxley Carmichael public and media relations firm, will speak at the 7:30 a.m. breakfast at Fox Den Country Club.
“I am in love with social media myself and we use it a lot to promote Moxley Carmichael,” Moxley said.
“But, more importantly, we help our clients use it to promote their businesses and deliver their messages,” she added.
Moxley said she’d discuss various ways to utilize social marketing and how social marketing affects sales and business growth.
“In my talk to the Farragut Chamber, I will answer the questions I get asked most frequently. Several of them are, ‘What if someone says something bad about me or my business on social media?’ ‘What if my competitors follow me?’ and ‘How can I find the time to do it?’” Moxley said.
Tickets are on sale until Aug. 3; cost is $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members. Space is limited. Reservations are required.
For more information or to reserve a space, call the Chamber at 865-675-7057.
