First day FPS traffic ...

With no wrap-around traffic jams in sight at the corner of Campbell Station and Grigsby Chapel roads, a mother and her Farragut Primary School son appear to be lonely figures walking to FPS on the first day of school in session, Tuesday morning, Aug. 17. Ann Page, Knox County Sheriff’s Office school patrol officer for almost 25 years, said she was surprised traffic wasn’t too congested despite construction on Campbell Station Road. One reason traffic flowed better around FPS this year versus 2009, Page added, was because more parents walked their children to school.
