• Aug. 13: A Pecos Road woman advised Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputy Lydia Farmer an unknown suspect threw a rock at her vehicle’s passenger side window, breaking the glass. Suspect then stole a purse and a pair of shoes.

• Aug. 13: A Blarney Lane woman advised KCSO officer Donnie Clift an unknown suspect entered her unlocked vehicle, parked at La Petite Academy off Station West Drive, and stole her purse, which contained a checkbook, debit card, cell phone and eyeglasses.

• Aug. 13: An Ivy Chase Lane man advised KCSO officer Donnie Clift an unknown suspect cut the tires on the right side of his vehicle.

• Aug. 16: KCSO officer Kenneth Aken responded to Kohl’s department store off Kingston Pike on report of a shoplifter. Witness, an employee of Kohl’s, told officers he saw the suspect enter the fitting rooms with several items and then leave the dressing room without them. Witness followed suspect outside the store and discovered the suspect had stolen $300 worth of merchandise. Suspect was misdemeanor cited.

• Aug. 18: A Long Bow Road man advised KCSO officer Cathy Norris an unknown suspect entered two vehicles parked in his driveway overnight. Victim advised one vehicle was locked; the other was probably unlocked. There were no signs of forced entry to either vehicle. Suspect stole two speakers and an amplifier from one of the vehicles.

• Aug. 18: A Lawton Boulevard man advised KCSO officer Jordan Hurst an unknown suspect burglarized two vehicles parked in his driveway overnight. Both vehicles were unlocked. Suspect stole a GPS system.

• Aug. 19: A Kohl’s department store employee advised KCSO officer Clark Caswill he had a suspect in custody for shoplifting. Suspect had been found with $174 worth of unpaid merchandise on her person as she left the store. Suspect was issued a misdemeanor citation.

• Aug. 19: A Kohl’s department store employee advised KCSO officer Clark Caswill he had a suspect in custody for shoplifting. Suspect had stolen a $32 bracelet, and was taken into custody outside the store. Suspect was issued a misdemeanor citation.

• Aug. 19: A Raceland Way woman advised KCSO officer Ellan Nauss she arrived home from being gone several hours to find her back door was open. An unknown suspect apparently had kicked in the door, causing damage, and had stolen several items of jewelry, worth about $4,325. Forensics took photos and fingerprints from the scene.

• Aug. 19: A Bermuda Drive man advised KCSO officer Cathy Norris an unknown suspect stole his lawnmower from his garage, on either Aug. 15 or Aug. 16. Victim stated this would have occurred during the daytime while his garage door was open.
