• Sept. 18: Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputy Chad Coleman responded to Prodigal Primary Care in reference to an alarm activation. Officer found a side door had been kicked open and a television was missing. Forensics processed the scene.

• Sept. 19: KCSO officer Jill Breeden responded to Kohl’s department store on report of a shoplifter. Complainant stated he witnessed two female suspects walk into the store and take an assortment of clothes and perfumes, worth $2,059.89. Complainant stated the suspects placed the merchandise in bags and left the store without paying. The suspects also had two small children with them and were caught on video surveillance.

• Sept. 20: A Sanderling Lane man advised KCSO officer Gabe Mullinax his home had been burglarized. Unknown suspect(s) removed a screen and attempted to gain entry to the home through a master bedroom window but were unsuccessful. Suspects did make successful entry by throwing a landscaping paver through a front porch window that led to a child’s bedroom. Suspects stole two televisions, a DVR, a camera, a Nintendo Wii and accessories, a laptop computer and a VCR/DVD player.

• Sept. 23: KCSO officer Nick Brown responded to Kohl’s department store on report of a shoplifter. Complainant said he apprehended a known female suspect for shoplifting two shirts. She concealed the items, worth $52, in her purse. Suspect was misdemeanor cited.


• Sept. 22: KCSO officer Clark Caswill responded to Kohl’s department store on report of a shoplifter. Complainant said he apprehended a known female suspect for shoplifting several items, worth $254. Suspect was misdemeanor cited.
