• Town of Farragut’s Art Fest, free of charge, is from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 10, in Farragut Community Center. “Outdoor art activities are geared toward children, but adults can get in on the fun, too,” a Town press release stated.

• Town residents are invited to one of two public meetings in Farragut Community Center (from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. or from 5:30 to 7 p.m.) Thursday, Aug. 31, concerning “the new development at the intersection of Kingston Pike and Campbell Station Road and the start of Biddle Farms in the heart of Farragut’s Town Center District,” a Town press release stated.

“There are other areas designated Mixed Use Town Center on the Future Land Use Map, and we’d like to hear your ideas about how they should develop and what new infrastructure is needed.Each meeting will include a 20-minute overview of the project and activities to collect input on form, character, recreation and placemaking within the Mixed Use Town Center.”
