• Knox County recently has again achieved one of the highest honors in governmental accounting and financial reporting.

For the 27th consecutive year, Knox County Finance Department received the Certificate for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its Annual Comprehensive Financial Report for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2022. The ACFR details the county’s financial condition and its overall budgetary performance.

• M&M Productions USA has hired Daniel G. Beckner as an account executive within the Knoxville market for the full-service event planning and production company that serves clients across the country.

Beckner has accumulated diverse experiences working in video production, sales, marketing, financial and relationship management positions.

Beckner joins the team after almost a decade in leadership positions within video production, marketing, sales and relationship management fields.

He will manage area sales leads and pursue target markets while implementing industry trends and opportunities. His responsibilities include serving as a conduit between clients and M&M Productions USA leadership and serving in technical support roles as needed at events.

• The Knoxville Museum of Art recently welcomed eight new members to its Board of Trustees, which helps to set policy, ensure funding and oversee management of the museum.

New members are Scott Bird, partner and chief operating officer of MoxCar Marketing + Communications; Judy Doyle, KMA Guild co-chair; Rob Heller, CEO, Centeur LLC; Kay and Larry Leibowitz, community volunteers; Susana Navarro, president and CEO of Navarro Inc.; and Gail Van Hoozier, KMA Guild co-chair.
