• Nov. 28: A Huxley Drive woman advised Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputy Ericka Moyers she parked her vehicle at the Farragut Post Office, then returned to find her purse had been stolen from the vehicle, which was left unlocked.

• Nov. 28: KCSO officer Chad Gore responded to Kohl’s department store on report of a shoplifter. Complainant stated he observed a known suspect enter the women’s dressing room with a purse, several clothing items and multiple Nintendo DS games. She later exited the dressing room with only the purse and no visible merchandise. As she neared the store exit, the complainant approached the suspect and the suspect fled the store with the merchandise concealed in her purse. Merchandise was worth $546.96. Suspect was taken into custody and charged with a Class E Felony.

• Nov. 29: A Moser Lane woman advised KCSO officer Jordan Hurst that an unknown suspect stole her purse, which contained various credit and debit cards, drivers’ license, social security card and cell phone, from her unlocked vehicle. Vehicle was parked at a location off West End Avenue.

• Nov. 29: A North Monticello Drive woman advised KCSO officer Donald Clift an unknown suspect stole her purse, which contained $100 as well as her cell phone, various credit cards, keys and IDs, from her vehicle. Vehicle was parked at a location of West End Avenue. Complainant did not know how suspect gained entry to vehicle.

• Nov. 29: A Somersworth Drive woman advised KCSO officer Jordan Hurst she went to the Walgreens Pharmacy and left her cell phone on the counter. When she returned to get the phone, it was gone. Walgreens had video of the incident.

• Dec. 1: A Willow Ridge Way woman advised KCSO officer Adam Brown she woke to find three of her diamond rings were missing. She said she recently had a live-in boyfriend, with whom she broke up, and believed he stole the rings.


• Dec. 2: A Lost Tree Lane woman advised KCSO officer James Shipley her former live-in boyfriend stole several items of jewelry from her and then pawned them. She stated he removed the jewelry between Oct. 1 and Dec. 2, then pawned them at Southeast Goldbuyers off Campbell Station Road and Kells Gold off Kingston Pike. Complainant stated she did not wish to prosecute, but needed a police report to purchase the items back from the pawnshops. Jewelry was worth $5,400.

• Dec. 2: A Newport Road man advised KCSO officer Benjamin Hibbert an unknown suspect hit his mailbox with his vehicle and then “took off.” Complainant stated he saw the suspect pull into the garage of a home on his street and close the door. Officers knocked on the door of the suspect residence with no answer.

• Dec. 3: KCSO officer Richard VanKirk responded to Petro Stopping Station off Watt Road regarding a theft. Complainant, an employee of Petro, stated an unknown female entered the store and ate $14.84 worth of food, then left without paying for it.

• Dec. 4: KCSO officer Eric Davis responded to Kohl’s department store for a theft call. Suspect was arrested. She had a previous shoplifting warrant.
